this blog is never vague - why start now.

i had an awesome lunch - hee - lotsa protein.

no - but for real - that was my lunch.

vin has pneumonia - in his right lung. since he's in the hospital that's obviously the best place to get it - so he'll be treated with antibiotics and hopefully it will go away in about two days. i'm telling you for my scrawniest kid - he sure is holding on like a trooper. thatsamyboy!

plans are pretty concrete for this weekend - i have to work friday which is a total bonus since i just spent more money than i should've at old navy. okay - they were giving 30% if you got a new old navy card - so i picked up a few things. plus - if you use it by the eighth it's the same thing. it might be a lil' bit o' christmas for the boys - anyway - i went there because zakkary made me feel bad - indirectly.

when i went to see him play football two weeks ago - the team on the field next to his the steelers were setting up. i saw those little black jerseys and told zrg - i don't think in a critical way or anything - how sexy he'd look in a steelers jersey. jdg responded with 'they couldn't pick their team!' but that's not what i meant i just meant my handsome son would look bangin in that black jersey.

fast forward to this past sunday and my dad took zrg to the mall - at the sports store guess what he had my dad buy him.

yup - a steelers jersey.

he called me straight away and said - mom, i got a black steelers jersey and i wanna wear it for you.

my heart sank.

i did that to him - did he think he wasn't up to par for mommy unless he was wearing that black jersey - i dunno but i don't want to EVER make him feel like that again.

back to old navy - so they have these football tshirts - bm said it was because some league is doing throwbacks so i'm lucky that the steelers were a part of it - and i got a tshirt. i'll layer it on sunday and he'll get a kick outta that.

i also got him a few shirts for next summer (via santa) and i got myself a v-neck shirt that is too big in a medium and must return it - and a pair of casual pants to go with the steelers shirt!

tonight is atypical - confession, benediction, mass, sinnin!
